KPA was retained as Interior Designer and Architect for Clarins’ first stand-alone, flagship retail store and treatment spa at King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia. At 1,800 SF, the location features the entire range of offerings, including skin, body & sun care, cosmetics and men’s care, along with a 250 SF treatment spa. The interior is a clean, white space accented by splashes of Clarins’ signature red. White metal fixtures line the walls, while the semi-private treatment spa is centrally located in middle of the space. KPA translated and refined the Parisian design team’s vision for the US, with special focus on the storefront, lighting and ceiling design. In addition to developing the architectural details, we sourced finishes and materials that can only be found locally and ensured the space met local code requirements.
